1. Payment
We would always prefer to be paid by Debit or Credit Card and accept
all major cards EXCEPT American Express and Diners Card. Paying by Debit
or Credit Card would also mean that you receive your order more quickly.
We will accept cheques, made payable to Personal Images Ltd, although
we will always wait for the cheque to clear through our bank before despatching
the goods.
2. Delivery
We will endeavour to deliver all orders within 10 working days Monday
- Friday. Every effort will be made to deliver on time, but any delivery
day specified is a best estimate and no liability is accepted for any
loss arising from delay or error in the delivery of the goods, the exception
to this is if you pay by cheque and as mentioned above we will always
wait for cheques to clear before despatching goods. All deliveries will
be charged at the prevailing rates applying at the date of such delivery.
3. Prices
All prices are inclusive of VAT, delivery and insurance to the UK mainland.
Our prices are as stated on the site at the time you place your order.
If due to an error or omission, the price published is wrong, Personal
Images Ltd will advise you of the correct price and allow you to change
or cancel your order.
4. Returns
If it is necessary to return the item simply place the item(s) in its
original packaging, including the packing note and follow these 3 steps;
Contact us on 01638 711744 between 9am and 5pm Mon - Fri,
Fax us on 01638 711376 or email us at: engrave@personalimages.co.uk to
let us know about the items you wish to return.
Send the package and insure it for the value of the packing note. This
will protect you in case the package gets damaged whilst coming back
to us. We can't be responsible for parcels that do not manage to get
back to us. When we receive the parcel, we will check it and refund the
amount of the order plus the postage you have paid to return it to us.
5. Damaged Items
In the unlikely event that your items get to you in a damaged state,
please advise us within 7 days at the latest. This will enable us to
go back to the carriers. If we are not advised by telephone within 7
days, we will not be able to accept any claims for refunds.
6. Liability
Save in so far as defects in the goods cause death, injury or damage
to personal property, our liability for any loss or damage suffered by
you in respect of the goods shall be limited to the contract value of
the goods. We can accept no responsibility for loss or damage from the
supply of goods under this contact unless you have fully compiled with
the notification of claims procedure set out in clause 4 returns. Nothing
in these terms and conditions shall affect the right of a consumer.
7. Force Majeure
We will not be held responsible for failure or delay in the carrying
out of our obligations under the contract arising out of any cause outside
our reasonable control or by inability to procure materials or articles
except at higher prices due to any such cause and in such circumstances
we shall be entitled by notice to terminate the contract in whole or
in part without incurring any liability whatsoever to you.
